Alumadocks can be configured with several roofing styles. Our gable roof docks offer great protection from the elements and are economically priced. Alumadock’s hip roof docks offer even greater protection from the environment with a four sided roof. For the ultimate party deck, our sundeck roofs dramatically increase the usable dock space, as well as protecting the area underneath from the weather. All roof styles can be configured to match your existing architectural style , color scheme or roof pitch. Gables, Hips and Sundeck Combos come with a 26 gauge commercial R-Lok panel, available in 19 different colors.
Sundeck Roof Docks
Sundeck docks offer the best combination of roofing types. A sundeck provides full time protection for your slip or covered deck. But a sundeck also allows a huge party deck up top, substantially increasing the amount of habitable square footage. Sundecks usually have jump gates, too. These gates allow someone to safely jump off the top deck for some major air and tricks. You can even add a rope swing to really appease the acrobats in your family! Sundecks are available with or without hip or gable sheds, depending on your needs and local regulations. All sundeck roofs are constructed with 8″ x 2″ channel trusses, bands and corner gussets with 2″ square tube purlins.
Hip Roof Docks
Hip roof docks offer protection on all four sides, with an attractive look. Hips roofs are also typically stronger and more rigid than gable roofs. Our hip roof construction features several proprietary extrusions. These engineered high strength shapes combine for a solid, stable and durable roofing system. Hip roofs can be configured in many ways. Add a raised ridge or cupola with wind vane to match your existing architecture. Our hip roofs are fully trimmed with custom profiles, unlike any competitor. We carefully conceal all edges for the most finished yet simple look possible. We also utilize noise deadening materials throughout the roof on metal to metal connections. All hip roofs are constructed with 8″ x 2″ channel trusses, bands and corner gussets with 2″ square tube purlins.
Gable Roof Docks
Our gable roof system is engineered strong but economical with an open air feel. Gable roof trusses can be pitched differently to allow for a higher or lower vault. This allows for a lower eave height but still enough ceiling height for a boat lift and wakeboard tower or T-top. All gable roofs are constructed from 8″ x 2″ channel trusses, bands and corner gussets with 2″ square tubing purlins.
