Fixed/rolling adaptive custom gangway

ALUMINUM GANGWAY - ALUMADOCK gangways are made out of 2" x 2" x 1/8" and 2" x 4" x 1/8" aluminum tubing constructed 16" on center.  This surpasses any competitive gangway in the country in all aspects.  A Standard size is 4' x 20', but custom sizes can be made.  Alumadock structurally engineered gangways are availiable in 20', 30', 40', 60', and 80' lengths.  Standard widths are 3', 4', and 6' wide but custom sizes are availiable at no extra cost.   Structurally engineered and capable of single spanning great lengths,   Alumadock gangways can be used with a wooden, steel, or aluminum dock.  Alumadock gangways eliminate the dangerous spacing between floating dock modules because of a joint-less, solid floor.  Aluminum handrails in either 36" or 42" heights provide handicap accessibility and eliminate the need for any flotation from the begginning of the gangway to the connection at the boat dock.  ROTO molded plastic wheels on a stainless steel axle are availiable to facilitate movement in and out due to water fluctation.

SIZE CONFIGURATIONS - ALUMADOCK frames can be made any size you desire. Generally the size of the boat dock mooring area is referred to as a "slip". A standard size which is commonly used is 10' x 24'. This overall dock size is 18' x 30' which includes 4' walkways around 3 sides. A side deck (swim platform) has been added to this as well. We have manufactured single slips, double slips with or without sundecks. Any configuration you desire can be made to your specifications. We want your business.

FLOTATION - ROBCO Manufacturing is an authorized distributor of PERMAFLOAT® Dock Flotation . PERMAFLOAT is a one-piece rotationally molded part which eliminates seams that could result in separation and leakage. The .150" thick shell is made of tough virgin polyethylene with ultraviolet inhibitors. This tough shell prevents damage from the sun, saltwater, fresh water, debris, oil, gas and marine organisms. PERMAFLOATs are foam filled with expanded polystyrene, which contains no CFC's or HCFC's. The high tensile strength shell is resistant to impacts and PERMAFLOATs are available in various sizes to fit your specific needs. PERMAFLOATs are guaranteed for 10 years from date of installation.

FRAMES - Alumadock's exclusive extrusions are constructed out of marine grade aluminum T6-6061 alloy.  Aluminum is the ideal material for docks because it is maintenance free and will never rust.  Alumadocks mainframe is built out of 8" c channel 3/16" wall aluminum on 24" centers.  We consistently use the same heavy wall channel on 24" centers throughout our entire dock system and because of this exclusive feature, there is no other aluminum dock on the market that can compete with Alumadock's strength.  We are a firm believer in the fact that " In order to have a good solid house (but in this case a dock), you must have a good foundation."  A heavy duty mainframe is essential in the longevity of a boat dock.  All weldments are made with state of the art aluminum pulsed digital MIG welding equipment to ensure maximum welding penetration and fusion of alloys.

DECKING - Alumadock offers several types of decking to fit your needs. Our most popular decking is CertainTeed's EverNew® premium vinyl decking. EverNew® vinyl decking provides a no-snag surface that's free of nails, splinters or screws, virtually maintenance free, and comes in tan or grey colors. We also offer an interlocking aluminum decking, available in tan or grey, which provides superior strength, durability, and no maintenance.
